I’m Mariam Rodríguez, creator of Expertico. Born and raised in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, I’ve spent my entire career working in customer service, luxury hospitality, and vacation rentals throughout Guanacaste.

My professional background includes experience with internationally recognized luxury brands such as JW Marriott and Four Seasons, as well as luxury vacation rental and property management companies in the region. Over the years, I developed a strong passion for creating exceptional guest experiences through communication, responsibility, attention to detail, and personalized service.

I created Expertico as a reflection of both my experience and my roots. The name combines “Expert,” representing expertise and professional service, with “Tico,” the term used for Costa Rican locals. The idea behind the brand was to create a service built around local knowledge, trusted guidance, and genuine hospitality.

As a local expert from Tamarindo, my goal is to bring value to every guest and homeowner through personalized service, authentic recommendations, and a deep understanding of the area and lifestyle that make Guanacaste so special.

My focus has always been simple: provide professional, reliable, and detail oriented service while making every client feel welcomed, supported, and cared for from start to finish.
